PROJECT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SOUTH LAKE CWSP
ROUND 3: OCTOBER 2023

The South Lake CWSP is pleased to review applications for projects with the primary function of reducing phosphorus levels in Lake Champlain. There are roughly $830,002 of funds each year to accomplish this goal. Collectively the projects should have an average cost efficiency similar to the amount supported by the South Lake formula grant ($9810/kg from our target formula once admin and the assumed amount for project ID and development are subtracted out).

The South Lake CWSP welcomes grant applications at any time and will work to assist grant managers with application materials, as requested. Grant applications will be evaluated by the South Lake Champlain Basin Water Quality Council (BWQC) on a quarterly schedule with review deadlines planned for February, May, August, and November.
