Danby

Danby has a little bit of everything special. It is one of the prettiest towns because of where it sits with Dorset Mountain looming in the background.  It has the Danby Quarry, which is the largest marble quarry in the world with famous Danby White marble (used at our nation’s capital). It has Smokey House, an education center for agriculture, and family-run farms, like Yoder Farm. It is an independent town with a handsome village, interesting history, and an impressive Bluegrass Festival.
